DESCRIPTION The 6th Annual St. Patrick's Day
Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, March 13, 1989. As in
past years, the Dublin -San Ramon Lions Club will sponsor the
traditional St. Patrick's Day Parade and the City's Recreation
Department will sponsor the community celebration.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 9:30a.m. and the proposed
parade route is as follows:
Amador Plaza Road - Begin
Amador Valley Blvd. - West
Regional Street - South
Dublin Blvd. - East
Village Parkway - North
Amador Valley Blvd. - West
Amador Plaza Road - End
The community celebration is scheduled immediately following the
parade. This year the celebration will be held at Dublin High
School as the Shannon Community Center will be under renovation.
Local community groups will host food, game and information
booths and entertainment will be ongoing provided by area talent.
Commitments to participate in the annual celebration have been
secured by the following groups:

Karate Demonstration
Only Yesterday Barbershop Quartet
Street banners depicting the traditional "pot of gold" will go up
the first week of March. Additionally posters and flyers will be
distributed throughout the community.
To date interest in the annual celebration has been high and
staff anticipates a successful day.
