A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

DIRECTING PREPARATION OF ANNUAL REPORT FOR
LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 97.1
WHEREAS, un July 23, 1996, by its Resolution No. 94-96, this City Council initiated
proceedings, and by Resolution No 115-96, ordered the fonnation of City of Dublin Landscaping and
Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 97-1 ("the District"), pursuant to the provisions of the
Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (commencing at Section 22500 of the California Streets and
Highways Code) (hereinafter, "the Act"); and
WHEREAS, Sections 22620 et seq of the Act provide for the levy of annual assessments after
formation of the District; and
WHEREAS, within said District, the existing and proposed improvements and any substantial
changes proposed to be made to the existing Improvements are generally described on Exhibit A attached
hereto and hereby made a part hereof
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council does hereby designate
the Dublin Public Works Director/Assistant City Engineer as Engineer for purposes of preparing and filing
with the Clerk a written report in accordance with Section 22565 et seq of the Act; said Engineer is hereby
directed to apportion said assessments in accordance to the benefits received from said improvements by
the lots, pieces and parcels of land within the District, and said Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish
such preparation and filing forthwith.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 2006, by the following vote:
A YES Councilmembers Hildenbrand, McCormick, Oravetz and Zika, and Mayor Lockhart

'COPE OF WORK
The improvement is generally described as /ol1ows: The maintenance and repair of landscaped and
open space areas, entry features, entry lighting, masofuy soundwalls, wrought iron fences, publicly~owned
drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees and plantings, furnishing of water and power for irrigation
systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses for the following areas:
a) The northerly and southerly street frontages for Dublin Boulevard from Arnold Road to
Tassajara Road.
b) The northerly and southerly street frontages for Central Parkway from Arnold Road to
Tassajara Road excluding the future school frontage landscaping.
c) The southerly street frontage for Gleason Drive from Arnold Road to Tassajara Road and
the northerly street frontage for Gleason Drive from Tassajara Creek to Tassajara Road.
d) The easterly street frontage for Arnold Road from Dublin Boulevard to Gleason Drive.
e} The easterly and westerly street frontages for Hacienda Drive from the I-580lHacienda
interchange to Gleason Drive.
t) The westerly street frontage ofTassajara Road 350 feet southerly of Tassajara Road and
Dublin Boulevard intersection to 450 foot northerly of the Gleason Drive and Tassajara
Road intersection.
g) Tassajara Creek and trail from 1-580 to the northerly property boundary of the Alameda
County Surplus Property Authority property (portion of APN 986-1-1-10).
h} Street median landscaping is not part of this District.
