FINANCIAL STATEMENT:

DESCRIPTION: The tenn of the 2003-2004 Youth Advisory Committee tenn ended
in August 2004. During the past year, the Advisory Committee assisted with the coordination of
numerous teen events. Some ofthe more popular events included the Dub Town Jam, Karaoke Night and
Capture the Flag Nights. Community service was a high priority for the Committee during their tenn.
The members volunteered to coordinate the parking lots and shuttles at the Day on the Glen Festival. In
addition, they operated the City's infonnation booth at the 8t. Patrick's Day Festival and assisted the
Alameda County Firefighters with the St. Patrick's Day Community Pancake Breakfast.
The outgoing Youth Advisory Committee Members have prepared a presentation highlighting activities
and accomplishments over the past year.
RECOMMENDATION:
