A PROCLAMATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
CITY OF DUBLIN
CALIFORNIA
\tVHEREAS, strong families are at the center of strong communities; and
\tVHEREAS, everyone has a role to play in making families successful, including neighborhood
organizations, businesses, non-profit groups, and of course families themselves; and
WHEREAS, Dublin is known as the place where families come to raise their children; and
\tVHEREAS, we all should recol1unit to enhancing and extending all family connections; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting that official recognition be given to the importance of family loyalties,
relationships, and connections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that If Janet Lockhart, Mayor of Dublin, on behalf of the
entire City Council, do hereby proclaim the week of November 21 - November 27, 2004 as
HNATIONAL FAMILY lNEEI(" in the City of Dublin and encourage famill
appreciate their role, thus contributing to a strong and healthy community.
