RECOMMENDATION: _ 11/. Review suggested names as provided by Eden Hal/sing, Ine. and
t¡lIVY recommend a preferred name for the new affordable Senior
Housing Complex
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: On January 6, 2005 Staff received a letter trom Eden Housing, Inc.
the developer and general partner of the Dublin Senior Housing Complex requesting inpl/t in the selection
of a permanent name for thcir senior development. Below arc the three names they are considering.
They are as follows:
· Memon Square (or Commons)
· Galway Tcrrace (or Commons)
· Killaemey Commons
At this time Staff is requesting that the City Council consider these choices and provide a
recommendation to Eden Housing, Inc. for the name of this complex.
RECOMMENDATION: Review suggested names as provided by Eden Housing, Inc. and
recommend a preferred name for the new affordable Senior Housing Complex

Dear Julia:
As per my November letter, Eden Housing, Inc. as managing partner of Dublin Senior Limited
Partnership, would like to determine a permanent name for the DubEn Senior Housing project
that is now under construction. In response to recommendations from the City of Dublin, we are
exploring namcs that are related to the Irish heritage of the City. We are considering the
following names:
- Memon Square (or Commons)
" Galway Terrace (or Commons)
- Ki1lamey Conunons
We are planning to select a permanent name for the property early this year. We want to inform
you about our ideas for the project name and to ask if the City of Dublin has any feedback on
these possible names.
