RECOMMENDATION: /1/c:onfirm Mayor's re-appointment of Valerie Barnes to the Tri- Valley
\ Community Television Board of Directors
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION:
The Cities of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon make two appointments per City to the Tri-
Valley Community Television Board (CTY). In addition, the Board chooses three members-at-large to
serve on the Board. The CTV Board appointees serve a two-year term. According to CTV by-laws, there
is no limit on the number ofterms board members may serve.
The terms for both Dublin representatives, Valerie Barnes and Patrick Hannigan, expired at the end of
February 2005. The Mayor has re-appointed Ms. Barnes for an additional term.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Council confirm the Mayor's re-appointment of Valerie Barnes to the crv
Board.
