FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: Government Code Section 36933 requires that all City Ordinances
be published or posted in at least three public places within the City of Dublin. Following their adoption,
Ordinances are posted within 15 days and remain posted for public view for a period not less than 30 days.
Currently, Resolution No. 134-05 designates the Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza; Dublin Library,
200 Civic Plaza; and Dublin Senior Center, 7437 Larkdale A venue, as the posting locations for
Ordinances.
Construction on the new Dublin Senior Center is nearing completion, and the new facility is anticipated to
begin regular operations on Monday, August Sm, As such, it is necessary to amend the posting location
schedule to reflect the change in address for the Dublin Senior Center from 7437 Larkdale Avenue to
7600 Amador Valley Boulevard.
These posting locations are also used for the posting of all City agendas, public hearing notices and other
appropriate documents. .
Staffrecornmends that the City Council adopt aResolution amending the schedule oflocations for the
posting of City Ordinances to: 1) the Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza; 2) the Dublin Library, 200
Civic Plaza; and 3) Dublin Senior Center, 7600 Amador Valley Boulevard.

AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 134 - 04
RELATED TO POSTING LOCATIONS FOR CITY ORDINANCES
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 36933 requires that all Ordinances be published or posted
in at least three public places within the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, the relocation of the Dublin Senior Center necessitates a change in address to one of
the mandated posting locations !Tom 7437 Larkdale Avenue to 7600 AmadorValley Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, Ordinances shall be posted at the following locations:
1) Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza
2) Dublin Library, 200 Civic Plaza
3) Dublin Senior Center, 7600 Amador Valley Boulevard
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby
amend the posting location schedule.
