'.%~.] The City Council of the City of Dublin does ordain as follows:
Section 1. 17IKN~G~~IONS
Section 6-162.39 Dou~herty ROad and Dublin Boulevard and Scarlett
Court of Article 6 of the AlamedaCounty OrdinanCe Code relating to "Turning
Regulations," previously adopted by the City of Dublin, is repealed.
Article 6, relating to "Turning Regulations" of the Alameda County
Ordinance Code previously adopted by the City of Dublin is amended by the addition of
Sections 6-163.1 and 6-170.56 to read:
It is unlawful to turn a vehicle so as to proceed in the opposite
direction at the followin~ described location:
Section 6-163.1Dousherty Road and Dublin Boulevard and Scarlett
Court, South and East approaches.
Turnin$ a vehicle at a signalized intersection so as to proceed in the
opposite direction permitted:
Section 6-170.56 Dou~herty Road and Dublin Boulevard and Scarlett
Court, West approach.
Section 2. IMMEDIATE EFFECT:
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment
because the adoption and immediate effect thereof is necessary in order to protect
vehicular and pedestrian safety.
Section 3. POSTING OF ORDINANCE:
The City Clerk of the City of Dublin shall cause this Ordinance to
be posted in at least three (3) public places in the City of Dublin in accordance
with Section 36933 of the Government Code of the State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Dublin on this 9th
day of February, 1987.
