GENERAL INFORMATION:
PROJECT:
Conditional Use Permit request for a Directional Tract
Sign on the northwest corner lot of San Ramon Road and
Silvergate Drive.

BACKGROUND:
This item was continued from the April 6, May 4, and May 18, 1987, Planning
Commission meetings as the Applicant and Developer had not complied with a condition
of approval for a previous Directional Tract Sign application prohibiting erection
of the sign until the Vista Green development received approval for a Temporary
Sales Office and Model Home Complex.
In March the Developer of Vista Green submitted an application for a Model
Home and Sales Office (PA 87-038 Vista Green Administrative Conditional Use Permit);
however, to date the Developer has not complied with the requirement to provide
off-street parking.
During the time since the Developer was first informed (in late March) that
off-street parking was required to be located on a lot adjacent to the model home,
foundations have been poured for all the lots surrounding the proposed model.
Staff has informed the Developer that a condition to locate off-street parking
on Lot 37 adjacent to the proposed sales trailer will be applied as a Condition of
Approval for PA 87-038 Vista Green Model Home Complex Administrative Conditional Use
Permit. The Developer has indicated he will notify Staff as to the acceptability of
this condition by Friday, May 29, 1987.
The Applicant is requesting the Planning Commission continue this item to a
date uncertain pending resolution of the off-street parking issue.
