PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Background During the January 2004 Strategic Planning Workshop, the City Council developed Mission, Vision, and Value Statements for the City of Dublin and adopted a Ten year Strategic Plan with six primary strategies. The City has used these strategies to develop the Goals and Objectives for each fiscal year. During the Planning Commission Goals and Objective meeting on January 10,2006, the Commission had expressed concern over the look of Dublin Boulevard, which is the only street that passes through the entire City. The Planning Commission wished to have more input on how Dublin Boulevard will be developed in future. The Commission expressed that the look and feel of Dublin Boulevard was an issue that warranted further examination and discussion among the Commissioners. Therefore, at the end of the meeting, the Planning Commission voted to include a Study Session on Dublin Boulevard in the Community Development Planning Goals & Objectives. The Fiscal Year 2006-2007 City Council Goals and Objectives include, as a high priority goal, a Study Session with the Planning Commission to discuss how Dublin Boulevard will look and feel from Schaefer Road to Fallon Road.
