office building and 4-level parking garage) or the Project (a 6-story, 100-bed hospital building and 5-level
parking garage) as Phase Two of the Dublin Gateway Medical Center for the life of the Original Approval
and the Project entitlements.
BACKGROUND:
The Dublin Gateway Medical Center Building 3 Hospital and Garage project was reviewed by the
Planning Commission during a Public Hearing on April 24, 2007. Prior to the Planning Commission
meeting, a notice was sent to the Valley Times and mailed to all property owners and occupants, within
300 feet of the property, notifying them of the date of the Planning Commission meeting, as well as the
date of the City Council meeting (scheduled for May 1, 2007).
At the April 24, 2007 Planning Commission meeting, the Planning Commission reviewed the proposed
project and requested that the Applicant make a few modifications to the project. The Planning
Commission continued the hearing to the May 8, 2007 Planning Commission meeting in order to provide
the Applicant with ample time to make the requested modifications.
Because the Planning Commission continued the Public Hearing for the project, the date of the City
Council hearing must be moved. Because a notice was distributed which included the May 1, 2007 City
Council hearing date, the City Council must continue the project to May 15, 2007. The hearing date will
not be re-noticed because the City Council will be continuing the item during a Public Hearing.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the City Council: 1) Open Public Hearing; 2) Receive Public testimony; 3) Close
Public Hearing; and 4) Continue Item to May 15, 2007.
