Continue the public hearing to October 9, 2001. DESCRIPTION: The applicant, Glenn Kierstead, of Dublin Security Storage is requesting a Variance and Site Development Review approval for constructing additional storage units, totaling approximately 10, 000 square feet, along the western property boundary of two contiguous parcels located at 6005 Scarlett Court. A variance is required to allow a zero foot rear yard setback instead of the required 10-foot setback along the edge of the rear property line. Staff is requesting a continuance of the public hearing from October 9, 2001 to October 23, 2001. The applicant/owners will not be able to attend the May 23, 2000 Planning Commission Meeting because of other commitments on that date. RECOMMENDATION: Open the public hearing and hear Staffpresentation; and continue the item until the October 23, 2001 Planning Commission Meeting. Glenn Kierstead, the owner, has an out of state travel commitments for that date that cannot be rearranged. We are requesting to be rescheduled for the October 23, 2001, Planning Commission meet'rog.
