Original Budget was 1983-84 1984-85 $20,106.90 $ 0 2,518.10 90.00 22.625.00 90.00 $25,000.00. 1985-86 Total Cost $ 2,816.10 $22,923.0U 337.00 2,945.10 3,153.10 25,868.10 DESCRIPTION: In January, 1984, the City Council awarded Contract 83-3 to Chrisp Co. The project provided for the installation of street name signs in various intersections, approach signs, and street number signs in the business areas. Completion of the project was delayed by the turnaround time for an encroachment permit from the California Department of Transportation to mount street name signs at the intersection of Dublin Blvd. and San Ramon Road. Mounting brackets also had to be reconfigured to Caltrans requirements. The City Engineer has reviewed the improvements and found them to be in accordance with'the approved plans, specifications, and modifications. Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements and authorize the retention payment of $2,292.30. ITEM NO.~ COPIES TO: Chrisp Co.
