DESCRIPTION: The applicant, Glenn Kierstead, of Dublin Security Storage is requesting a Variance and
Site Development Review approval for constructing additional storage units, totaling approximately 10,000
square feet, along the western property boundary of two contiguous parcels located at 6005 Scarlett Court. A
variance is required to allow a zero foot rear yard setback instead of the required 1 O-foot setback along the rear
property line.
On October 9, 2001, the applicant requested a continuance of this item from October 9, 2001 to the October 23,
2001 Planning Commission meeting. The Planning Commission granted the continuance as requested to the
following Planning Commission meeting.
On October 15,2001, Staff notified the applicant that this item would need to be continued to the November 13,
2001 Planning Commission meeting due to Staff illness. The applicant informed Staff that he is unable to
attend this meeting because of other commitments on that date. Staff proposed two future Planning
Commission meetings (November 27 and December 11, 2001) to accommodate his schedule. At this time,
these dates are also unacceptable to the applicant because of prior commitments. Staff is requesting the
Planning Commission continue this item indefinitely to allow the applicant time to choose a convenient
Planning Commission meeting date.
