RESOLUTION NO. 108 - 07
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPROVE
A CHANGE ORDER OF UP TO $75,000 FOR ADDITIONAL
GRADING WORK DUE TO UNFORESEEN CONDITIONS
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin did, on March 20th, 2007, award the contract for Shannon
Community Center Contract No. 07-02, for the amount of $8,572,332; and
WHEREAS, Construction Demolition has uncovered unforeseen conditions; and
WHEREAS, these unforeseen conditions have resulted in unanticipated costs to the contractor;
and
WHEREAS, the work is necessary to complete the construction of the project and remain on
schedule; and
WHEREAS, the Contract authorizes the City Manager to approve change orders for additional
work up to $25,000, and Council approval is required for change orders in excess of the City Manager's
authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does
hereby authorize the City Manager to approve a change order of up to $75,000 for additional grading
work made necessary due to unforeseen conditions.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of June, 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Hildenbrand, Oravetz, Sbranti and Scholz, and Mayor Lockhart
