FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: Staff is proposing amending the salary ranges for several temporary,
part-time, positions in the Parks and Community Services Department. On an annual basis, Staff conducts
a salary survey to determine current market ranges for part-time classifications within the City's personnel
system. The survey included ten local agencies with similar classifications. Based on the survey, Staff is
recommending the following salary adjustments to update the ranges to the market average:

RESOLUTION NO. - 2002
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
AMENDING THE SALARY PLAN FOR PART-TIME TEMPORARY PERSONNEL
.WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's Personnel System Rules, the City Council adopted
Resolution No. 122-93 and subsequent resolutions which comprise the Salary Plan for Part-Time
Temporary Personnel; and
WHEREAS, competitive salary provisions which will attract and retain quality employees are
important to the organization; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to update salary provisions for part-time temporary employees in the
City's personnel system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following part-time hourly salary ranges shall
be established as of June 29, 2002, in accordance with the City of Dublin Personnel System:
