The project installed signalization at the intersection of San Ramon Road and Alcosta Blvd. and included widening southward to Bellina Street. Since the project is within both the City of Dublin and the City of San Ramon, it was constructed in accordance with the agreement approved on March 11, 1985, by both cities, wherein Dublin was to pay 100% of the construction cost and San Ramon is to pay for all future maintenance, energy, and modifications. During the construction phase, the City Engineer authorized additional striping improvements which consisted of changes in lane delineation in both the north-south and east-west directions. Staff from both the City of San Ramon and the Contra Costa County Signals Department have signed off on their respective punch lists. The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined that it is complete and in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and modifications. Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements and authorize the final payment in the amount of $33,109.67.
