RECOMMENDATION

1. Confirm the City Council subcommittee of
Howard and Moffatt.
2. Confirm that the awards will be made in
conjunction with the st. Patrick's Day
Celebration.
3. Direct Staff to coordinate the distribu-
tion of the nomination forms.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT :
$350 is available in the FY 93-94 Budget
DESCRIPTION : On an annual basis the City recognizes an
outstanding individual and organization to receive public recognition
and honor for contributions made to improve the quality of life in
Dublin. Nomination forms are typically available in early January and
the awards are made in conjunction with the city's st. Patrick's Day
Celebration.
The citizen of the Year and the Organization of the Year
with plaques at a City Council meeting and are invited
the grand marshal for the annual St. Patrick's Day
addition, the names of the individual and group are
perpetual plaque which hangs in the lobby of the
Chambers.
It is the recommendation of Staff that the city Council take the
