CITY OF DUBLIN
MEMORANDUM
DATE: November 22, 1993
TO: CITY COUNCIL
FR: city Manager
RE: December customer Service "Award of Excellence"
The Customer service Committee reviewed a number of nominations
for the December- customer Service "Award of Excellence." As
always, the decision was a difficult one. This month, the customer
Service Committee is pleased to select Donna Arnold as the
recipient of the December 1993 "Award of Excellence."
Donna Arnold has worked for the city of Dublin as a pre-school
instructor since 1986. "Ms. Donna" as she is known to her small
students, provides customer service to the youngest members of the
Dublin community. As a result of Donna's efforts, her preschool
program has been filled to capacity for the past several years.
Donna has received numerous commendations from parents regarding
the quality of the city's pre-school program and the level of
service provided by "Ms. Donna."
But Donna's efforts reach far beyond her young students... She has
helped coordinate numerous city events and is always first in line
to assist other city staff members with special projects and
programs. Her kindness and dedication to the Recreation Department
and to the city of Dublin cannot be matched.
For the reasons stated above, the Committee believes that Donna
Arnold should receive the customer Service Award of Excellence for
December 1993. I will present the officers with the award at the
City Council meeting on october 25, 1993.
