HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 045-00 MAD 97-1RESOLUTION NO. 45 - 00 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN DH~ECTING PREPARATION OF ANNUAL REPORT FOR LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 9%1 WHEREAS, on July 23, 1996, by its Resolution No. 94-96, this City Council initiated proceedings, and by Resolution No. 115-96, ordered the formation of City of Dublin Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 97-1, ("the DiStrict") pursuant to the provisions of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (commencing at Section 22500 of the California Streets and Highways Code) (hereinafter, "the Act"); and WHEREAS, Sections 22620 et seq of the Act provide for the levy of annual assessments after formation of the District; and WHEREAS, within said District, the existing and proposed improvements and any substantial changes proposed to be made to the existing improvements, are generally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby made a part hereof, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council does hereby designate the Dublin City Engineer as Engineer for purposes of preparing and filing with the Clerk a written report in accordance with Section 22565 et seq of the Act; said Engineer is hereby directed to apportion said assessments in accordance to the benefits received from said improvements by the lots, pieces and parcels of land wkhin the District, and said Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish such preparation and filing forthwith. AYES: Councilmembers Howard, McCormick, Zika, Vice Mayor Lockhart and Mayor Houston NOES: None AB SENT: None ABSTAIN: None '"~ I~, ~y C~erk k- K:/G/4-4-00/reso97-1.doc (Item 4.6) g:(ad)\97-Jtresol-971_ EXHIBIT A ScoPE OF WORK The improvement is generally described as follows: The maintenance and repair of landscaped and open space areas, entry features, entry lighting} masonry soundWalls, wrought iron fences, publicly-owned drainage ditches, irrigation systems, trees and plantings, furnishing of water and power for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental expenses for the following areas: a) The northerly and southerly street frontages for Dublin' Boulevard from Sebille Road (Arnold Road) to Tassajara Road. b) The northerly and southerly street frontages for the "transit spine" from Sebille Road (Arnold Road) to Tassajara Road excluding the future school frontage landscaping. c) The southerly street frontage for Gleason Drive from Sebille Road (Arnold Road) to Tassajara Road and the northerly street frontage for Gleason Drive from Tassajara Creek to Tassajara Road. d) The easterly street frontage for Sebille Road (Arnold Road) from Dublm~oulevard to Gleason Drive. e) The easterly and westerly street frontages for Hacienda Drive from the I-S80/Hacienda interchange to Gleason Drive. f) The westerly street frontage of Tassajara Road 350 feet southerly of Tassajara Road and Dublin Boulevard intersection to 450' northerly of the Gleason l~rive and Tassajara Road intersection. g) Tassajara Creek and trail from 1-580 to the northerly property boundary of the Alameda County Surplus Property Authority property (portion of APN 986-1-1-10). h) Street median landscaping is not part of this District.
