The project consists of applying a sand-oil mixture to the streets to fill cracks, improve the gripping surface, and increase the life of the streets~ During the application of the slurry seal, the City's contracted sweeper broke down twice on Bristol Road, causing delays to the California Pavement Maintenance operation. California Pavement Maintenance therefore contracted with another sweeper to finish the project and was paid by change order. The following streets were slurry-sealed: Bonniewood Court~ Wexford Court, Sutton Lane, Bonniewood Lane, Firethorn Way, Peppertree Road, Ardmore Court, Elgin Lane, Jasmine Court, Sharon Court, Knollwood Place, Hastings Way, Sharon Street, Aldea Street, Cardigan Court, Kilrush Avenue, Bonfield Court, Cardigan Street, Lucania Street, Larkdale Avenue, Canterbury Lane, Limerick Avenue, Bristol Road, Canterbury Court, Chatham Street, Cranford Lane, Alene Street, Cardiff Drive, Diana Lane, Mayan Court, Cardiff Court, Bedford Court, Sheffield Lane, Sheffield Court, Bedford Way, and Lisa Court. The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined that it is complete and in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements and authorize payment to California Pavement Maintenance, in the amount of $33,120.16. ITF~! NO. COPIES TO: California Pavement Maint.
