DESCRIPTION:
In April of 1989, the City Council awarded Contract 89-4, the Annual Slurry
Seal Program, to McReynolds Paving. The project consists of applying a sand-

increase the life of the streets.
The following streets were slurry-sealed:

Newcastle Lane
Dover Court
Elba Court
Burton Street
Wineberry Way
Locust Place
Village Parkway/Clark Ave.

McReynolds Paving also slurry sealed Arbor Creek Circle in Tract 5131, which
was part of the final punch list for the developer's improvements. Suit has
been filed to recover the cost for slurry sealing Arbor Creek Circle from the
developer's bond.
The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined that it
is complete and in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements and authorize
payment to McReynolds Paving, in the amount of $39,581.60.
