DESCRIPTION: On October 3, 2006 the City Council approved an Agreement with
Callander Associates Landscape Architecture Inc. to complete design services for Devany Square
(formally known as Area G Square). The scope of work included design related services through the
project's bidding process and limited construction administration services. Staff is seeking additional
construction administration services through the remaining project construction.
Due to unanticipated changes during construction primarily revisions to the play area surfacing and
replacement of the curb and gutter along Finnian Way, Staff requests additional services to complete the
project. Callander Associates Landscape Architecture Inc. will provide three on-site reviews, attend the
substantial completion walkthrough, prepare punchlist and attend the final walkthrough. Further detail is
provided on Attachment 1.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council approve the
Change Order #3 for Callander Associates Landscape Architecture Inc. in the amount of $2,640.

services
Due to the length of the Devany Square project and the additional design services provided for
the play area, we have prepared the following proposal to continue our construction
administration services in order to meet your proposed scope.
The following conti.nued services will be provided on this project in accordance with our
agreement dated October 3,2006 and are considered an amendment thereto:
Scope
Task 1- Constmction Administration
During constnlCtion of Devany Square, Callander Associates will provide construction
administration services to support City Inspectors. Services may include the following upon
City request.
