HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 099-99 St Light Maint AD 99-1RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 99 A RESOLUTION OF.TI~ CITY COUNCIL OF ~ CITY OF DUBLIN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION (DUBLIN RANCH) STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 99-1 Recitals The City Council of the City of Dublin resolves: 1. The City Council intends to order the formation of an assessment district and to levy and collect assessments for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. 2'. The improvements to be made in the assessment district are generally described as follows: The maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of all public street lighting facilities located within the public streets and within public easements within private streets within the District Boundaries, as shown on the approved improvement plans for the following Tracts: Final Maps 6925 and 6956 through 6964, including, but not limited to, the lighting poles, fixtures, conduits,.conductors, service boxes, controllers, and appurtenances, and the furnishing of power, together with all incidental expenses for the maintenance, operation, and repair of the street lighting system. 3. This assessment district shall be known as "Street Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 99-1 (Dublin Ranch)." The general location of the assessment district is: the area consisting of Tracts 6925, and Tracts 6956 through 6964. 4. In accordance with Resolution No. 39-99, the Resolution Initiating Proceedings for Street Light Maintenance Assessment District No. 99-1 (Dublin Ranch), the City Engineer has filed with the City Clerk the repOrt required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessment district and the proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. 5. The City Council will conduct one public meeting and one public hearing on the question of the formation of the assessment district and the levy of the proposed assessment for Fiscal Year 1999-2000. The meeting and hearing will be held, respectively, on July 20, 1999, and August 3, 1999, at 7:00 p.m. at the Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin, California. 6. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 and Government Code Section 54954.6(c). PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1't day of June, 1999.
