DESCRIPTION: On August 23, 1993, the city Council awarded Contract 93-10, the Annual Slurry Seal Program, to American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing Co., Inc.. Slurry seal is a preventive maintenance technique used to prolong the life of a street. It consists of a sand/oil mixture which seals cracks and provides a new uniform wearing surface. The City streets are presently on a seven-year cycle. Before streets are seal coated, oil spots are removed and asphalt failures are repaired. Streets which were slurry sealed for this contract are as follows: Rothschild Court Champagne Place Brittany Lane Rolling Hills Drive Longford Drive Wicklow Lane Edenberry Place Sovereign Court Newry Place Rothschild Place Martin Canyon Road Seine Court Ashford Way Edenberry Street Ardmore Place Beverly Court Glenoaks Way Shamrock Place Champagne Court Brittany Drive (loop s/o Rolling Hills) Carlow Way Wicklow Court Bluebell Way Beverly Lane Briarwood Lane Stagecoach Frontage Road The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined that it is complete and in accordance with the approved specifications.
