DESCRIPTION: The street which connects Dublin Boulevard with Emerald Glen
Park was not assigned a name at the time that the Final Map for Tract 7149 was approved. This street is
officially designated "Street A" on the Final Map, but has been commonly called "Park Street." At the
December 21, 1999, meeting, the City Council authorized Dublin Partners in Education (DPIE) to name
the street through a fund-raising event to aid the Dublin School District.
The fund-raising auction has been held, and the successful bidder has designated the name "Glynnis Rose
Street." Staff has circulated the proposed name among the various agencies as required by the Dublin
Municipal Code and has received no objections. There are no addresses on this street; therefore, the City
Council may adopt the resolution approving the street name without conducting a public hearing.
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the resolution.
