HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 085-00 MAD99-1Annex Tr7067 RESOLUTION NO. 85 - 00 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN RESOLUTION OF INTENTION STREET LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 99-1 ANNEXATION OF TRACT 7067 Recitals The City Council of the City of Dublin resolves: 1. The City Council intends to order the annexation to an assessment district and to levy and collect assessments for Fiscal Year 2000-2001 pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. 2. The improvements to be made in the assessment district are generally described as follows: The maintenance, operation, repair and replacement of all public street lighting facilities located within the public streets and within public easements within private streets within the District Boundaries, as shown on the approved improvement plans for Tract 7067, including, but not limited to, the lighting poles, fixtures, conduits, conductors, service boxes, controllers, and appurtenances, and the furnishing of power, together with all incidental expenses for the maintenance, operation, and repair of the street lighting system. 3. This assessment district shall be known as "Street Lighting Maintenance Assessment District No. 99-1 Dublin Ranch Area and Tract 7067." The general location of the annexation is: the area consisting of Tracts 7067. 4. In accordance with Resolution No. 70-00, the Resolution Initiating Proceedings for Street Light Maintenance Assessment District No. 99-1 Annexation (Tract 7067) the City Engineer has filed with 'the City Clerk the report required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are referred to that report for a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessment district and the proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land within the assessment district. 5. The City Council will conduct one public meeting and one public hearing on the question of the annexation of territory to the assessment district and the levy of the proposed assessment for Fiscal, Year 2000-2001. The meeting and hearing will be held, respectively, on July 18, 2000, and August 1, 2000, at 7:00 p.m at the Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza, Dublin, California. 6. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to give the notice of hearing required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 and Government Code Section 54954.6(c). PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 2000.
