Police 6670, 6680

Published numbers must be manually forwarded to voicemail and manually
unforwarded.
Only the voicemail system administrator can set voicemail to automatically activate
after a certain number of rings.
Does the City wish to maintain the policy set in 2003 fora "live body" to answer
during business hours rather than having calls go to voicemail after a number of
rings? If so then can current staffing continue to achieve this? Is it a viable option
for a limited time to have calls go to voicemail if unanswered after 10 rings, for
example?
• Published number voicemail greetings can be recorded to instruct caller on how to
"break out" of voicemail and ring an extension or query the company directory.
