HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 012-98 CommPublicSafeZoneRESOLUTION NO. 12 - 98 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN ACKNOWLEDGING THE ALAMEDA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT, AND THE DEPUTY SHERIFFS' ASSOCIATION FOR THEIR COOPERATION IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY PUBLIC SAFETY ZONE WHEREAS, the Dublin Unified School District and Dublin Police Services have developed a program to improve police services to Dublin High School; and WHEREAS, Dublin Police Services has developed a Cmmnunity Public Safety Zone in the viciniW of Dublin High School with a dedicated officer to work in that zone; and V~rHEREAS, the Alameda County Sheriff's Department, and the Deputy Sheriffs' Association have offered their full support to facilitate the program in order to meet the School District's needs. NOW, THE. REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dublin City Council offers their sincere thanks and appreciation to the Almneda CounV. q Sheriff's Department, and the Deputy Sheriffs' Association for their cooperation. AxFES: Councilmembers Barnes, Burton, Howard, Lockhart and Mco~or Houston NOES: None ABSENmf': None ABST ~'~: None ATTEST: Deputy C~f Clerk'° I I/cc4brms/reso.doc ~,~ /G/2-3-98/reso-pa. doc RESOLUTION NO. 12 - 98--~ A RESOLUTION OF TI~ CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF DUBLIN AMENDING THE SALARY PLAN FOR PART-TIME PERSONNEL WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 122-93 and subsequent resolutions establishing a Salary Plan for Part-Time Personnel; and WHEREAS, competitive salary provisions which will help attract and retain quality employees are important to the organization; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to update salary provisions for part-time employees in the City's personnel system in accordance with recently adopted State and Federal MINIMUM wage requirements and with the results ora recent market survey. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the part-time salary provisions enacted in Resolution No. 122-93 and subsequent resolutions be superseded by this resolution. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following part-time hourly salary ranges shall be established in accordance with the City of Dublin Personnel System: Part-Time Classification Administrative Intern .....
