Home My WebLink AboutReso 046-98 Geotech/EarthSystemRESOLUTION NO. 46 - 98 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN APPROVING AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES WITH EARTH SYSTEMS CONSULTANTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Dublin approved an agreement for geotechrdcal services with Earth Systems Consultants, on May 20, 1997; and WHEREAS, Consultant has requested an adjustmem of rates to become effective July 31, 1998; and WHEREAS, the term of the agreemem is proposed to be extended until June 30, 1999; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby approve the amendment to the agreement with Earth Systems Consultants, which is attached hereto as "Exhibit A." BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to execute the amendmem. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of May, 1998. AYES: Councilmembers Barnes, Burton, Lockhart and Mayor Houston NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Howard ABSTAIN: None - ~CitO Clerk ~- K2/G/5-5-98/resoerth. doc g:\engr\esc~resoarrmd EXHIBIT "A" OF RESOLUTION ~f,~ -98 AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF DUBLIN AND EARTH SYSTEMS CONSULTANTS FOR GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES WHlr~REAS, the City of Dublin (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and Earth Systems Consultants (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT"), entered into a one-year agreement on May 20, 1997, to provide engineering services to CITY; and WHEREAS, Consultant and the City of Dublin wish to extend the term of said agreement for an additional one-year period (terminating June 30, 1999); and WHEREAS, Consultant proposes a rate adjustment which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and which will remain effective until July 31, 1999; NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: Increase in Rates The fee schedule attached hereto as "Exhibit A" will become effective July 31, 1998 and remain in effect until July 31, 1999. Extension of Term The term of the agreement shall be extended to coincide with the end of the 1998-99 Fiscal Year; i.e., until June 30, 1999.
