HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 136-98 CivicCntrPump/Paco RESOLUTION NO. 136 - 98 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN AWARDING PURCHASE ORDER FOR PROJECT 98-10 CIVIC CENTER FOUNTAIN PUMP REPLACEMENT TO PACO PUMPS, INC.. WHEREAS, the City of Dublin did, on August 25, 1998, publicly open, examine, and declare all sealed bids for doing the work described in the approved Plans, Specifications, and Modifications for Project 98-10 Civic Center Fountain Pump Replacement, authorized by the City Council on August 4, 1998, which Plans, Specifications, and Modifications are hereby expressly referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under the request for bids; and WHEREAS, said bids were submitted to the City Engineer, who has recommended that the bid hereinafter mentioned is the lowest and best bid for doing said work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby award the purchase order for City of Dublin Project 98-10 to the lowest responsible bidder therefor, to wit Paco Pumps, Inc., with a bid of Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Five Dollars and Forty Nine Cents ($9,955.49), the particulars of which bid are on file in the Office of the City Engineer. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1 st day of September, 1998.
