As shown below, some of these respondents had participated in a parks and recxeation activity at another public facility, but at very low levels. None of these respondents used a public park or recreation facility even a dozen times in the last month. Where cells axe shaded grey thexe was a staristically significant difference between subgroups (p<.05). More residents with a child 17 or younger in the household reported the City should spend more on recreation and sports programs and recxeation facility development than residents who did not have a child 17 ox younger in the household. No diffexences in spending pxeferences were detected for homes with an adult age 65 or older and those without. More xesidents on the eastern side of Dublin wanted the City to spend less on xecrearion and sports programs than on the western side. A proportion of residents on the western side of Dublin wanted the City to spend more on historical pxeservarion and educarion and park maintenance than on the eastern side.
