EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will receive a report on the numerous donations made in Fiscal Year 2009-
2010 from Dublin businesses and organizations to support the City's various Special Events
and Programs.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$60,191 in monetary sponsorships was received, as well as in-kind sponsorships.
RECOMMENDATION:
As per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be
formally accepted by the City Councif. Therefore, Staff recommends that the City Council
recognize the sponsors and formally accept the contributions.

DESCRIPTION:
During the Fiscal Year 2009-2010, the Parks & Community Services Department coordinated
several special events within the community that were supported by donations. These activities
included the Day on the Glen Festival, St. Patrick's Day Celebration, Shamrock 5K Fun Run,
Community Golf Tournament, Eggstravaganza and Father's Day Picnic. Additionally, monetary
donations were received for the City's Youth Scholarship Fund and Senior Center programs.
These events and programs were well supported by local businesses. The City received
$60,191 in sponsorships for the year. The City also received overwhelming support from in-kind
donations of goods and services. A list of the sponsors is shown below.
