Recognition of All-America City Awards Donors Prepared By: Linda Maurer, Economic Development Director EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The City Council wishes to publicly recognize the donors who made it possible to send a delegation to Kansas City, Missouri in June 2010 for the City of Dublin to compete in the All- America City Awards. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None at this time. RECOMMENDATION: Recognize the donors in the City's bid to become an All-America City. ~ ~---~----~, Submitted By Economic Development Director Revi e By Assistant City Manager Page 1 of 2 ITEM NO. 3~ ~ DESCRIPTION: In June 2010, the City was able to send a delegation to Kansas City, Missouri to attend and compete in the All-America City Awards program. Funding to send the delegation was raised through private donations by the City Council's Delegation Committee. Through these efforts, more than $28,000 was raised to send a delegation of 14 community members to compete for the prestigious award by the National Civic League. Following is a list of the donors that contributed to the City's efforts.
