A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN

APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO AGREEMENTS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH
ASSOCIATED ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS, INC.,
FEHR & PEERS, KLEINFELDER WEST, INC.,
PERMCO ENGINEERING & MANAGEMENT,
AND ZUMWALT ENGINEERING GROUP
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin ("the City"} and the firm of ASSOCIATED ENGINEERING
CONSULTANTS, INC. (AEC), previously entered into an Agreement whereby this firm agreed to
provide construction inspection services on an as-needed basis; and
WHEREAS, the City and AEC now desire to extend the terms of the Agreement an
additional one year until June 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the rate schedule contained in AEC's current Agreement shall remain in
effect for Fiscal Year 2010-2011; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin ("the City") and FEHR & PEERS, KLEINFELDER WEST,
INC., PERMCO ENGINEERING & MANAGEMENT, AND ZUMWALT ENGINEERING GROUP
("the Consultants"), have previously entered into two-year Agreements ("the Agreements")
whereby the Consultants have agreed to provide certain engineering services on an as-needed
basis; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Consultants now desire to extend the terms of the
Agreements an additional two years untif June 30, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the rate schedule contained in each Consultant's most current Amendment
shall remain in effect for Fiscal Year 2010-2011; and
WHEREAS, the attached Amendments to the Agreements have been reviewed and
approved as to form by the City Attorney's Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does
hereby approve the Amendments, attached hereto as Exhibits A-1 through A-5.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute the
Amendments on behalf of the City.

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN CITY OF DUBLIN AND ASSOCtATED ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS, INC.,
FOR ON-CALL CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and Associated
Engineering Consultants, Inc, (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT'), entered into a one-
year agreement on September 15, 2009, to provide on-call construction inspection services to
CITY; and
WHEREAS, CITY and CONSULTANT wish to extend the term of the agreement
for an additiona! one year, terminating June 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS, CONSULTANT will maintain the rate schedule adopted on
September 15, 2009;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Sectian 1. Extension of Term
The term of the agreement shall be extended from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011.
Should a new agreement or amendment to agreement to extend the contract not be entered
into by June 30, 2011, then this agreement will automatically extend unti! a new agreement or
amendment to agreement is entered into or CfTY gives written notice of termination.
Section 2. Rate Schedule
2010-2011.
The rate schedufe attached hereto as Exhibit 1 shall be in effect for Fiscal Year

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN CITY OF DUBLIN AND FEHR & PEERS
FOR TRANSPORTATION PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and Fehr &
Peers (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT"), entered into an agreement on November
18, 2008, to provide geotechnical engineering services to CITY; and
WHEREAS, term of said agreement expires June 30, 2010; and
WHEREAS, CITY and CONSULTANT wish to extend the term of the agreement
for an additional two years, terminating June 30, 2012; and
WHEREAS, CONSULTANT will maintain the rate schedule previously adopted
November 18, 2008;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Section 1. Extension of Term
The term of the agreement shall be extended from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2012.
Should a new agreement or amendment to agreement to extend the contract not be entered

AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN CITY OF DUBLIN AND KLEINFELDER WEST, INC.,
(FORMERLY KNOWN AS KLEINFELDER, INC.)
FOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and Kleinfelder
West, Inc. (formerly known as Kleinfelder, Inc., and hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT"),
entered into a two-year agreement on August 17, 2004, to provide geotechnical engineering
services to CITY; and
WHEREAS, on June 6, 2006, said agreement was subsequently extended for an
additional two-year term to June 30, 2008; and
WHEREAS, on June 17, 2008, said agreement was again subsequently extended
for an additiona! two-year term to June 3Q, 2010; and
WHEREAS, CONSULTANT will maintain the rate schedule previously adopted
June 17, 2008;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Section 1. Extension of Term
The term of the agreement shall be extended from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2012.
Should a new agreement or amendment to agreement to extend the contract not be entered
into by June 30, 2012, then this agreement will automatically extend until a new agreement or
amendment to agreement is entered into or CITY gives written notice of termination.

Kieinfelder reserves the right to adjust the fee schedule on projects not completed within 180 days from
the contract signature date.
Public works projects or projects receiving public funds are subject to Prevailing Wage laws. The above
rates apply to projects subject to prevailing wages.
*Applies to all professional rates including but not limited to civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical, geotechnical and
environmental engineers; industrial hygienists; geologists; hydrogeologists; hydrologists; and computer specialists.

FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Dubiin (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and PERMCO
Engineering & Management (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT"), entered into a two-
year agreement on September 4, 2004, to provide engineering services to CITY; and
WHEREAS, on June 6, 2006, said agreement was subsequently extended for an
additional two-year term to June 30, 2008; and
WHEREAS, on June 3, 2008, said agreement was again subsequently extended
for an additional two-year term to June 30, 2010; and
WHEREAS, CITY and CONSULTANT wish to extend the term of the agreement
for an additional iwo years, terminating June 30, 2012; and
WHEREAS, CONSULTANT will maintain the rate schedule previousfy adopted
June 3, 2008;

FOR ENGINEERING SERV(CES
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and Zumwait
Engineering Group (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTANT") entered into a two-year
agreement on July 20, 2004, to provide engineering services to CITY; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement was exter~ded an additional two years,
terminating June 30, 2Q08; and
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement was subsequently extended an additional
two years, terminating June 30, 2010; and
WHEREAS, CONSULTANT will maintain the rate schedule previously adopted
June 3, 2008;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
Section 1. Extension of Term
The term of the agreement shall be extended from July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2012.

The compensation of Zumwalt Engineering Group for work done will be on the basis of an hourly charge rate,
plus incurred expenses and will be the sum of all the items set forth below:

6. TRANSPORTATION EXPENSES
1. Fifty cents (0.50) per mile for use of vehicles. A minimum of eight dollars ($8.00) per hour will be
charged for use of vehicles used for field inspection and supervision.
C. OUTSIDE SERVICES
1. Invoice cost of services and expenses charged to Zamwalt Engineering Group by outside consultants,
professional, or technical firms engaged in connection with the order, plus 15% handling charge.
D. MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES
1. The invoice cost of materials, svpplies, reproduction work, and other services procured by Zumwalt
Engineer Group from outside sources, plus a handling charge of 15%. All out-of-pocket expenses not
included in Items A, B and C will be included in this category.
