Are you a creative person wishing to enhance the appreciation of the literary arts in your
community? If the answer is yes, now is your chance to apply for the honorary post of Dublin
Poet Laureate. The Poec Laureate provides appropriate poetry at civic events such as
dedications and public ceremonies and is a proactive resource and liaison between the City's
Hericage & Cultural Arts Division and local literary and community organizations.
To Qualj& You MustBe-
• A Dublin Resident or work in Dublin
• A published poet or be willing to publish poetry
• Affiliated with Literary Organizations is preferred
• 18 years or older
To 11p1i1y You Mz:st Submit-
• An application form
• Two original poems & a one page letter of interest
• A resume including a list of published poetry
