RECOMMENDATION: Confirm change in appointmem and direct Staff to notify appropriate
· agencies.
'FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: In June of 1997, the City of Dublin entered into an agreement with
the Alameda County Fire Department for the provision of fire and emergency response services.
Pursuant to the service agreement, the City is entitled to one City represemative on the ACFD Advisory
Fire Commission, and in April of 1998, Mayor Houston indicated that he would serve as the City's
representative on this Commission.
Mayor Houston recently advised Staffofhis desire to change the appointment to this Commission to Vice
Mayor Lockhart.
Staff recommends that the City Council confirm this appointment change.
