HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Reso 93-18 PA93-017 Allsafe Storage MMP/NegDec RESOLUTION NO. 93 - 018 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN ADOPTING A MITIGATION MONITORING PROGRAM FOR THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR PA 93-017 ALLSAFE SELF STORAGE TENTATIVE MAP/SITE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW/CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT/VARIANCE WHEREAS, Public Resources Code 21081.6 requires the City to adopt a reporting or monitoring program for changes in a project or conditions imposed to mitigate or avoid significant environmental effects in order to ensure compliance during project implementation; and WHEREAS, on May 25, 1993, the Planning Commission held a Public Hearing and adopted Resolution No. 93-017 making findings approving the Mitigated Negative Declaration for PA 93-017 Allsafe Self Storage Tentative Map/Site Development Review/Conditional Use Permit/Variance; and WHEREAS, proper notice of said public hearing was given in all respects as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE Dublin Planning Commission does adopt the "Allsafe Self Storage Negative Declaration Mitigation Monitoring Program" attached hereto as Attachment C-1 as the monitoring program required by Public Resources Code 21081.6. AYES: NOES: None ABSENT: None Commissioners Burnham, Downey, North, Rafanelli and Zika ATTEST: Planning irec ~.r~ Planning C~mi s~s ion ~a i~per son PA 93-017 ALLSAFE SELF STORAGE MITIGATION MONITORING PROGRAM FOR NEGATIVE DECLARATION The Applicant shall be responsible for any and all costs incurred in monitoring mitigation measures. For detailed information on impacts and mitigation measures refer to the Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration for PA 93-017 Allsafe Self Storage Tentative Parcel Map/Site Development Review/Conditional Use Permit/ Variance RESOURCE Traffic/ Circulation IMPACT Generation of additional traffic, resulting in a reduction in the level of service on Dougherty Road MONITORING ACTION. Prior to issuance of building permits, the Applicant will be required to 1) pay a Traffic Impact Fee in the amount of $12,830.00 towards improvements to Dougherty Road between 1-580 and the northerly City limits. The Applicant will receive credit for the five foot strip of property, on the western edge of the parcel, which was dedicated to the City for the ultimate widening of Dougherty Road. The Public Works Director will be responsible for determining the amount of credit issued. The Applicant will be responsible for paying the balance of the Traffic Impact Fee less the credit for the aforementioned dedicated land, prior to issuance of a building permit; and, 2) pay $32,500.00 as their fare share (one-fourth) of the total cost of installing a traffic signal and related improvements at the intersection of Dougherty Road and Sierra Lane.
