FINANCIAL STATEMENT: Project Budget Estimated Actual Design/Inspection/Testing $ 602,580 $ 648,529 Land $ 2,066,400 $ 2,066,400 Construction $ 4,587,598 $ 4,498,079 Miscellaneous $ 80,942 $ 91,229 TOTAL: $ 7,337,520 $ 7,304,219 This project is Primarily funded through Public Facility Impact Fees (Fund 310) with additional funding from Traffic Impact Fees (Fund 300) and Measure D (Fund 224). DESCRIPTION: At the meeting of May 4, 1999, the Dublin City Council awarded Contract No. 99-04, Emerald Glen Park Improvements to Goodland Construction, Inc. This project is Phase 1 of the Emerald Glen Park master plan. The Phase 1 project included the installation three ball fields, two soccer fields, two basketball courts, four tennis courts, a Skate park, concession building and a water play area. Acceptance of the improvements will make the park available for use by the public. However, the athletic fields will not be available for League Play until the official grand opening in the fall. The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and has determined that the work is complete. Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements and huthorize the release of Line of Credit after 35 days if there are no subcontractor claims.
