City Council Meeting of

It is my pleasure to announce this evening that the City of Dublin will soon have 3
new corporate tenants: Quintus Corporation, Simpson Manufacturing, and EMC
Corporation. All three of these businesses will be headquartered at the Koll Dublin
Corporate Center.
Quintus Corporation, which is currently headquartered in Fremont, specializes in
electronic customer relationship management, or eCRM and provide software
solutions that help businesses manage customer relationships across a wide variety
of communications media, including, telephone, internet, and e-mail. Simpson
Manufacturing manufactures structural connectors, anchors and othe products for
new construction, remodeling, and do-it-yourself markets. EMC Corporation,
which is based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, is the world's leading provider of
enterprise storage systems, software, and services. EMC Enterprise Storage is the
information storage and management solution of choice for every major computing
platform in ~today's business enterprise. EMC Corporation is a"i~ortune 500
Company and is a member of the Fortune e-50 index of companies leading the new
economy.
The three businesses have combined to lease approximately 175,000 square feet of
the Koll Dublin Corporate Center at Dublin Boulevard and Tassajara Road. It is
expected that both Quintus and Simpson Manufacturing could occupy their new
facilities by year's end, while EMC Corporation will move into their new location
by early, 2001.
The City of Dublin is excited that Koll Development is nearing completion of the
first two buildings of the Koll Dublin Corporate Center. I'd like to congratulate
Michael Parker of Koll Development on the project, as I'm certain that the Center
will provide Class A office opportunities for businesses looking to take advantage
of all Dublin and the entire Tri-Valley have to offer.
On behalf of the City Council and the residents of Dublin, I would like to welcome
Quintus, Simpson, and EMC to Dublin and wish them success in their new home.
