HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 4.04 AcceptRightOfWayDonlonAGENDA STATEMENT CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: October 14, 1985 SUBJECT: Acceptance of Right-of-Way Dedication - Donlon Way North of Dublin Boulevard EXHIBITS ATTACHED: Resolution; Location Maps RECOMMENDATION: Adopt resolution to accept offer of right-of-way dedication Instruct City Clerk to record these dedication documents FINANCIAL STATEMENT: No initial cost to the City. The City will assume maintenance responsibility. DESCRIPTION: A public street cul-de-sac is planned for Donlon Way, north of Dublin Boulevard. A condition of Tentative Map 5264 required dedication of a portion of the future street, but it was omitted from the owner's certificate of the Final Map. This same site is now being resubdivided by the Morrison Homes Corporation (Tract 5388). Morrison has provided the attached deed of dedication which is to be accepted prior to Final Map approval of Tract 5388. COPIES TO: Morrison Homes RESOLUTION NO. - 85 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN Accepting for the public, a Deed of Dedication for Donlon Way to be used as Street Right-of-Way WHEREAS, as a condition of Tentative Map 5364 an offer of dedication to the City of Dublin was required for right-of-way along Donlon Way; and WHEREAS, the owner of this project at this location, Morrison Homes Corporation, has offered a deed of dedication for this right-of-way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby accept this offer of deed of Dedication for public street purposes a portion of Donlon Way on behalf of the public. 1985. Dougherty" North 24° 44' 52" West, 426.77 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve to the left, having a radius of 43.00 feet, through a central angle of 79° 06' 08", an arc distance of 59.37 feet to a point on the Westerly property line of said Lot 1, thence along said Westerly property of Lot 1 South 24° 18' 42" East, 466.42 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
