CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. PRESENT: District Board of Directors Biddle, Hart, Hildenbrand, Swalwell, and President Sbranti ABSENT: . 2. PUBLIC COMMENTS No comments were made by any member of the public at this time. .. 3. MINUTES On motion of Boardmember Hart, seconded by Boardmember Swa Iwe II , and by unanimous vote, the District Board approved the Minutes of May 3, 2011. 4. PUBLIC HEARING Resolution Initiating Assessment Ballot Proceeding and Expressing Intent To Order Assessment to Pay for the Cost and Expenses of the Maintenance and Operations of the Improvements within the Jordan Ranch Development Annexation of the Fallon Villaae Geoloaic Hazard Abatement District (GHAD) 7:31 p.m. (360-60) District Engineer Mark Lander presented the Staff Report and advised that on May 3, 2011, the Board of Directors of the Fallon Village Geologic Hazard Abatement District (GHAD) adopted Resolution No. 2-11, annexing the Jordan Ranch Development (Jordan Ranch) into the Fallon Village GHAD. The boundaries of the territory annexed to the GHAD and the boundaries of the Jordan Ranch development are the same. The GHAD would be responsible for the ongoing monitoring, maintenance and repair activities outlined in the Jordan Ranch Development Annexation Plan of Control. There was currently no financing mechanism in place to pay for the Jordan Ranch GHAD activities. The adoption of the attached Resolution would initiate an assessment ballot DRAFT proceeding for Jordan Ranch GHAD. If approved, a new assessment zone would be created to pay for GHAD activities in the Jordan Ranch development. On motion of Boardmember Biddle, seconded by Boardmember Hildenbrand and by unanimous vote, the District Board adopted . RESOLUTION NO. 3 - 11 INITIATING AN ASSESSMENT BALLOT PROCEEDING AND EXPRESSING INTENT TO ORDER AN ASSESSMENT TO PAY FOR THE COST AND EXPENSES OF THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS OF THE IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN THE JORDAN RANCH DEVELOPMENT OF THE FALLON VILLAGE GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT 5.
