As per the Bylaws and Rules of Procedure for the Commission, "The Commission or the Chairperson, upon direction of the Commission, may appoint several of its members, but less than a quorum, to serve as a Committee." The one committee from 20l 1 with representatives and alternates is summarized below. Oral History Program Steering Committee An ad-hoc committee whose purpose is to provide City Oral History Program. input and recommendations on the formulation of a Representative: Steve Minniear Representative: Pamela Hernandez Although this Committee has been inactive this past year, it is recommended to continue the Oral History Program Steering Committee.to re-organize and identify future participants in the program. Consequently it is necessary to appoint two representatives to the Oral History Program Steering Committee. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission review the current committee appointments for the Oral History Program Steering Committee and make changes and/or appointments to the committee as deemed necessary.
