Porto, Project Planner) RECOMMENDATON: 1. Hear Staff presentation 2. Open public hearing. 3. Continue public hearing to March 11, 2003 DESCRIPTION: The subject property of this Application, referred to Site 15A, is located in the development/planning area known as Emerald Park in the westerly portion of the Eastern Dublin Specific Plan area at the northeast comer of Arnold Road and Dublin Boulevard. It is a portion of a site originally shown in the Plan as Site 15. The current owner of the property is the Alameda County Surplus Property Authority (ACSPA), which also is the Applicant for the current request/proposal. The current request by the Applicant is to amend the land use designation for Site 15A in the General Plan and the Eastern Dublin Specific Plan from High-Density Residential to Campus Office. At this time no development plan is proposed, and the proposed land use amendment would apply only to Site 15A. This item was noticed as a public hearing; however, issues still need to be addressed by Staff before this item will be ready to be heard. Therefore, Staff is recommending the item be continued to March 11, 2003. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission open the public hearing and continue the public hearing to March 11, 2003. G:\PA#L2002\02-041 \PC Staff Report continuance.
