DESCRIPTION:
The Parks and Community Services Department produces a diverse range of special event
programs throughout the year providing opportunities for Dublin’s residents to celebrate
community in family-friendly environments. In the coming months, in addition to these annual
community events, the Department is also planning the opening ceremony and dedication of
Positano Hills Park. Given the maintenance schedule of the park and the calendar of events
taking place within the City of Dublin (listed below), Staff recommends the dedication ceremony
and grand opening celebration be held on Saturday, May 4 beginning at 10:00 a.m. As an
alternate date, Staff recommends Saturday, April 20 and would coordinate ceremonial activities
so the public could attend both the Park Dedication and the Car Show.
