However, the Applicant and the property owner have been unable to reach an agreement on the terms of the lease; therefore, the Applicant is requesting that this item be continued to a date uncertain. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission: 1) Receive Staff presentation; 2) Open the public hearing; 3) Take testimony from the public; 4) Close the public hearing; and 5) Continue the item to a date uncertain. i Submitted By --- F7evie d By Assistant Planner Assistant Community Development Director COPIES TO: Applicant File ITEM NO.: Page 1 of 2 DESCRIPTION: The Applicant proposes to establish a new Community Facility (Place of Worship) within an existing building in the Sierra Trinity Business Park. The proposal is to operate the Sri Sai Temple meditation center within a 2,491 square foot tenant space within the Sierra Trinity Business Park (see Figure 1). Sierra Trinity Business Park is zoned Planned Development and is subject to the Industrial Park zoning regulations. The City of Dublin Zoning Ordinance classifies a meditation center as a Community Facility (Place of Worship), and approval of a Conditional Use Permit by the Planning Commission is required to operate a Community Facility within the M-P zoning district. Therefore, the Applicant has requested approval of a Conditional Use Permit to operate a Community Facility (Place of Worship) in the Sierra Trinity Business Park. Figure 1. However, the Applicant and the property owner have been unable to reach an agreement on the terms of the lease. Therefore, the Applicant has requested that this item be continued to a date uncertain.
