DUBLIN MEETING DATE: March 27, 2013
SUBJECT: Presentations from Qualified Youth Mini Grant Applicants

RECOMMENDATION: Receive report, Receive oral presentations, Deliberate, and
Recommend funding for the highest rated organization/club or
program.
FINANCIAL.STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: At the February 27, 2013 Youth Advisory Committee meeting,
Committee members reviewed submitted Youth Mini Grant applications. The Youth Advisory
Committee Members qualified Dublin High School Book Club, Dublin High School Robotics Club, Dublin
High School Public Speech and Debate Club, Fallon Middle School Robotic Club and Fallon Middle School
Band to proceed to the next phase of the Youth Mini Grant process. The next phase in the process
requires each applicant to provide a five-minute presentation to the Youth Advisory Committee. The
Youth Advisory Committee shall review and rate the qualified Youth Mini Grant applicants' oral
presentation to the Committee and recommend funding for the highest rated organization/club or
program.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Youth Advisory Committee receive the
report, Receive oral presentations, Deliberate, and Recommend funding for the highest rated
organization/club or program.
