DESCRIPTION: The curb on the east side of Sierra
Court is painted red from Dublin Boulevard to a point about
300 feet north of Dublin Boulevard. The Herald has
requested that the red curb, north of their driveway on
Sierra Court, be painted green in order that people dropping
off information will not have to drive into their parking
lot.
This ordinance will amend the previously adopted ordinance
for red curb at this location.
This request is reasonable considering the short term
parking requirements of the Herald. The installation of
this limited parking zone will not effect any existing

Dear Mr. Thompson:
RECElY.ED
DEC 2
CITY OP DUBuN
This is a formal request to have ~he red-striped curb changed to a green-
stripe in front of our offices at 6207 Sierra Court. We moved into the
building Nov. 3 and since have decided ~hat a green curb %ou!d serve our
needs better than ~he current red zone.
We would like parking for 4-5 cars in that green area. Many people drop
off news and advertising information at our office. Allowing them to park
at the curb makes more sense ~nan having them drive into our parking lot.
A green-curb will 1Lmit people parking there to ~ose dropping things off.
O{ners will be encouraged to park in hhe lot beside our building.
Please ca!! me at 829-9111 if I can answer any questions or if you need
additional information. Thar2c you for your consideration and cooperation.

Tim Hunt
