HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 027-96 Multi-HazPlan RESOLUTION NO. 27 - 96 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF DUBLIN REVISING THE MULTI-HAZARD FUNCTIONAL PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is aware of the hazards in and around the City of Dublin, and alert to the possibility of a major disaster; and WHEREAS, The Multi-Hazard Functional Plan was adopted by the City Council on September 26, 1995, by Resolution 116-95; and WHEREAS, City staff have prepared modifications to Attachment 1-4-A, Enclosure 1-4 "Standby Officers for the City Council, City of Dublin" in conformance with the current State law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin does hereby adopt the revisions to Attachment 1-4-A, Enclosure 1-4 of the Multi-Hazard Functional Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and by reference made a part hereof PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 271h day of February, 1996. AYES: Councilmembers Barnes, Burton, Howard, Moffatt and Mayor Houston NOES: None AB SENT: None ABSTAIN: None ATTEST: Mayor H/cc-forms/reso.doc K:/odfeb-96/reso~haz. doc CITY OF DUBLIN MULTI-HAZARD FUNCTIONAL PLAN Attachment 1-4-A, Enclosure 1-4 STANDBY OFFICERS FOR THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF DUBLIN Members of the Planning Commission of the City of Dublin are hereby designated and appointed as primary Standby Officers of the City of Dublin. Members of the Parks and Community Services Commission of the City of Dublin are hereby designated and appointed as secondary Standby Officers of the City of Dublin. In the event of a State of War Emergency, State of Emergency, or Local Emergency, the seats of unavailable (as defined by section 8636 of the Government Code) members of the City Council of the City of Dublin, will be filled by available members of the Planning Commission of the City of Dublin. If insufficient members of the Planning Commission are available, said vacant seats will be filled by available members of the Parks and Community Services Commission of the City of Dublin. 63
