At the City Council meeting of September 8, 1986, the City Council

Donohue Drive. Although the report did not recommend installation of STOP
signs as an effective method of speed control, the City Council did determine
to install STOP signs on Donohue Drive at the intersection of Ironwood Drive
and at the intersection of Irving Way and to monitor the effectiveness of
these STOP signs.
Police enforcement of the speed limit will be increased, and the sign
installations will be reviewed after six months and after one year.
Adoption of an Ordinance is required in order to install STOP signs;
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt this Urgency Ordinance.
